The 2016 NBA playoffs are underway, although all eight first rounds series have been underwhelming and dull.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the average margin of victory in playoff games to date has been 17.5 points, and only two of the 13 games played have been decided by fewer than 5 points. While more advanced rounds project to be much closer, the initial round of the playoffs has been particularly uninteresting for NBA fans.
