With a 6-1 victory over the Dallas Stars on Wednesday night, the St. Louis Blues will face the winner of the Sharks-Predators game in the Western Conference Finals. Whichever team gets through the West will look to carry on a trend of the league’s champion coming from the Western Conference. The last four Stanley Cup champions and seven out of the past ten title holders have been derived from the West.
