Leads from Social Media: Metric of the Week

Welcome to the Metric of the Week. This week we’ll be discussing ‘Leads from Social Media.’

What is the metric?

This metric is how many leads you get each day, week and/or month from social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

Another relevant metric is ‘social media traffic’ which is how many people visit your website from your these sites.

Why should you care?

If you are investing time, energy and/or money in social media, then it is imperative that you get a return on such investments. And clearly, the more visitors that come to your website the better, particularly if they become leads or customers.

What does it look like?

The chart below shows the number of leads a company is getting per month from different social media channels.
